You can see his tweets <a href=\"http:\/\/storify.com\/dannysullivan\/the-death-of-osama-bin-laden-live-tweeted\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-329\" title=\"Athar-Tweet1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nataliecopuroglu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/01-300x97.png\" alt=\"Athar-Tweet1\" width=\"300\" height=\"97\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-330\" title=\"Athar-Tweet2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nataliecopuroglu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/02-300x138.png\" alt=\"Athar-Tweet2\" width=\"300\" height=\"138\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-331\" title=\"Athar-Tweet3\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nataliecopuroglu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/03-300x99.png\" alt=\"Athar-Tweet3\" width=\"300\" height=\"99\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The news broke on Twitter even before the announcement from the White House.\u00a0Keith Urbahn, chief of staff for the office of the former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, is the first man who announced the death of Osama bin Laden.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-332\" title=\"Urbahn-Tweet1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nataliecopuroglu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/04-300x159.png\" alt=\"Urbahn-Tweet1\" width=\"300\" height=\"159\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The tweet generated so many retweets and replies that Keith Urbahn had to repost a tweet asking people to wait for the President\u2019s official speech.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-333\" title=\"Urbahn-Tweet2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nataliecopuroglu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/05-300x172.png\" alt=\"Urbahn-Tweet2\" width=\"300\" height=\"172\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><br \/>\nFacebook<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nThe announcement from the White House was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ZNYmK19-d0U&amp;feature=featured\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">livestreamed<\/a> on Facebook 90 minutes after speculations started on Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after the official announcement, the Facebook page \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Osama-Bin-Laden-is-DEAD\/134112283298465?sk=wall&amp;filter=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Osama Bin Laden is DEAD<\/a>\u201d went viral. At this hour, it has 270,469 fans.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-334\" title=\"Osama-Death-Facebook\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nataliecopuroglu.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/06-300x253.png\" alt=\"Osama-Death-Facebook\" width=\"300\" height=\"253\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><br \/>\nFoursquare<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to a report from <a href=\"http:\/\/mashable.com\/2011\/05\/02\/foursquare-osama-bin-laden\/\">Mashable<\/a>, Foursquare users also contributed to the buzz by checking in to a Post-Bin Laden world.
