News Impact Summit London

Yesterday I had the chance to attend News Impact Summit at the London School of Economics. The theme this year was Trolls, Corruption, Falsehood: Reporting ‘Truth’ in the Digital Age. It was really a wonderful event, and after attending (too!) many tech events & meetups, it’s also refreshing to attend a slightly different event and to talk about how technology can affect politics or public policy. Startup Weekend Shiraz


At the end of October, we attended Startup Weekend Shiraz. Startup Weekend is a global grassroots movement of active and empowered entrepreneurs who are learning the basics of founding startups and launching successful ventures. It is the largest community of passionate entrepreneurs with over 400 past events in 100 countries around the world in 2011.

Summary of Startup Asia 2013 #startupasia2013


Startup Asia 2013 took place in Singapore on April 4-5. It was a 2-day conference bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, media, and thought leaders across the Asian tech community to discuss market trends and discover innovative startups in the region.

CreativeMornings Singapore with Fredrik Härén

On Friday, I attended CreativeMornings, a monthly breakfast lecture series for creative types. Each event is free of charge, and includes a 20 minute talk, plus coffee! It was the second event in Singapore (I couldn't attend the first one) and it was really great. Kudos to the organizers for the event - I can't wait for next month! Here is the summary.
